This is going to be a really short post. How often do we care about our lips? it's somewhat a common truth that most of us overlook well until we get the chapped, dry or cracked lips syndrome is when we run to Google for remedies.
I'm doing a follow up on the last "lip" post. It's something that I do once a week or when I feel like. The fact that I wear lipstick daily is a sign that my lips need better care.
Exfoliation is the major key. It's not enough to just swipe some lip gloss on and voila you're done. There's alot more honey 😂.
Lip exfoliation should be more gentle than let's say a facial scrub. It is also important to note that you cannot use your face scrub as a lip scrub.
The idea behind exfoliation is that it helps to remove dead skin for better application of your lip moisturiser. To help you understand, I'll take a practical example.. It's like going to the farm bare foot then slipping on your socks 😮.It doesn't make sense completely ,and that's the idea I'm trying to emphasize.
Below is a small picture guided routine of a home made lip scrub that I use.
